The Drop The Hate communication campaign, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), aims to inspire positive behaviour in people aged 11-19 to combat discrimination and promote respect for all diversity by providing tools to understand what discrimination is, its forms and intersections, highlighting how the web can amplify its impact on people’s lives, and finally encouraging active engagement in victim support, with the aim of building a society capable of isolating and de-powering these phenomena.
The idea behind the campaign is to transform hate messages through art, with a focus on issues such as body shaming, racism, sexism, gender identity and sexual orientation.
